Potato-stuffed Whole Wheat Avocado Flat Bread
To make the dough for the flatbread, mix the following ingredients together:
● Whole Wheat Flour – 11⁄2 cup
● Avocado – 1 small sized (mashed)
● Milk
● Salt – as per taste To make the filling for the flatbread, mix the following ingredients together:
● Potato – 1 large (finely grated using a cheese grater)
● Cumin Powder – 1⁄2 tsp
● Cilantro – handful – finely chopped
● Lime Juice – 1⁄2 tsp
● Salt – as per taste
For flatbread: Make a small dough ball of about 11⁄2 inches in diameter. Dust the dough ball with flour and use a rolling pin to roll the ball into a 1⁄4 inch disc (about 3 inches in diameter). Place a tablespoon of the potato filling in the center of the rolled dough. Wrap the edges inwards to cover the filling. Press gently to seal into a pocket. Roll again to make the bread flat into a 3⁄4 inch thick disc (about 3 inches in diameter). Heat 1 tsp of oil or butter in a flat pan and shallow fry the bread on both sides, until crisp and golden brown. Top with some butter and drizzle some honey to ENJOY :-)
